I got my start at the age of 14 at D’Alessandro's Meat Center, founded by my grandfather in 1939, and operated by my father and uncles. Shortly thereafter, with hard work, I became a Master Butcher. After graduating from Syosset High School in 1987, I went on to St. John's University to study Business Management. I continued in the family business while simultaneously pursuing my education. In 1995, my brother and I opened an Italian Deli and Butcher Shop, D'Alessandro's Meats and Fine Foods. After 17 successful years, I sold my share of the business to my brother. After a chance meeting with Lou Rubino, I was fortunate for the opportunity to work with him on a project that got me into the world of tattoo ink and permanent makeup. Since 2012, I’ve been able to put my management and operations experience to work as COO.
I bring 16 years of hands-on business and operations experience, as well as 10 years of experience in manufacturing and distributing tattoo ink and permanent makeup.
At Perma Blend, I run the day-to-day operations at our South Carolina facility. This includes office management, bottling, distribution, sales, purchasing, and customer service. Perma Blend is constantly growing and I’m proud that my unique management skills have helped add to that growth. The people at Perma Blend, are like family to me and I like to extend that type of relationship with the artists and distributors we work with as well.
