Like so many artists, Shay DanielleOpens a new window noticed a marked difference in the quality of her work as soon as she switched to Perma Blend. “My artistry came to life,” she shares. “My clients’ retention was incredible. Before I switched to Perma Blend, I saw many of my clients coming back with very warm, salmon-colored eyebrows. After I switched, it took approximately a year for me to see all my clients and rework their permanent make up using Perma Blend to stabilize the tones. I saw an instant improvement in my artistry, and I have Perma Blend to thank for that. There isn’t another pigment line that compares or even comes close!”
“It’s so important for artists to know that Perma Blend was created for artists, by artists, from a need for high quality pigments at a reasonable price,” says Rubino. “We’ve worked with top specialists in formulation and chemistry, to bring science and art together. And we consult a range of artists at every stage of development too. We want artists to know and feel that Perma Blend is a brand they can trust. We know that colors should not shift or change in the skin, so we’ve leveraged our decades of experience in the tattoo industry to create revolutionary products. We are always working to be in compliance with every country's regulations, which keeps us the leader in the industry. We also run under ISO 13485Opens a new window, which has us running under a medical facility.”
So, what’s different when you first switch to Perma Blend?
“If you’re used to using a very thick pigment then there will be a slight adjustment,” says Danielle. “Perma Blend’s consistency is more liquid. For machine work, it’s the best! For microblading it’s also the best—once you get the hang of it. My best tip for microblading with Perma Blend for the first time is to use just a little. Dip only the very tip of your blade into the pigment. If you overload your blade, your work may get messy. Also, if pigment doesn’t fill the stroke, that’s ok! In between passes, rub your pigment into the strokes using a Q-tip. Let it sit for a minute, then wipe and BAM. Instant color!”
